Hi Writrix!

Great question. The tips still apply, for the most part. As for X (formerly Twitter), who knows? LOL. Things change every week (literally, they update the app at least once/week).

The main advantage I see (and have always mentioned) is that tweets (now called posts) are indexed by Google. This means it goes to your google ranking. That's a good thing.

FB, IG, LI, TT, etc., show you have an account but not your actual posts. That could change (in fact, TT is now being indexed).

IMO: he ruined a great thing and continues to make changes, as is his right, to make "improvements". I always said "Twitter is what you make it" and that's still true.

I don't care for his antisemitism and the overall racism on the platform has grown.

Hang out on #BookTwitter (still the preferred hashtag because #BookX hasn't picked up yet).

Basically, I'm continuing to use X for SEO purposes. Once that changes, if it changes, I'm out.
