I imagine people with the last names Weinstein and Cosby feel the same.

Epstein is a common surname for many Jews in America and throughout Europe (originating in Germany, where millions of Jews were murdered, as you know).

While these two men certainly are horrible examples of the name, it's certainly not fair to write off all the Epsteins of the world who are now dealing with the name recognition factor of these sleazeballs' idiocy and crimes.

I'm sure you meant your comment to be humorous. I've a friend whose last name is Epstein; it's difficult to see her shrink every time someone makes a comment. She is not them.
