Thanks, Dr. A. It is a ridiculous situation so many survivors find themselves in. Attacking a survivor's character and deciding they must have allowed it to happen is, for many people, the only way they can justify the cruelties that happen in this world. That's how they rationalize it. Doesn't make it okay or fair. It's psychological protection, even if they don't realize or admit it.
